Varg's era ended when he got incarcerated. He hasn't recorded anything as masterful as Hvis Lyset TAR Oss or Filosofem since. But that doesn't mean he can't still make good music! Judging from Scared's link, it sounds like Varg is going for a more dark ambient approach to his music this time. I'll be very surprised if there are people still running around calling him 'black metal' after this album has been released (assuming the rest of the album is just like this) I remember having fun once, it was terrible...
