Do you think science can explain everything?
Obviously yes...
No, there are somethings in this world that science cannot explain

Mercenarion says : Faster-than-light travel would be close to impossible, but we may find a way, you never know.

As for the origins of the universe: the LHC is coming close to representations of the "Big Bang", so we're close to finding that.

And Panzer, by modifying telomeres in our DNA, we could lengthen our lives. Problem is, that would be extremely dangerous. So it is plausible to lengthen human life.

Why would you want to prolong the inevitable? I mean, surely you would age the same, so you'd basically be some old Decrepit person for longer. REAL fun.

You wouldn't age the same. Telomeres (tiny caps on DNA) split a lot, and that degenerating is what makes you age. If that Process were to slow Down, you could live Far longer. If your lifespan were enhanced to 200 years, at 200 or so you'd look as Decrepit as you would as 80-100 normally.

Not only do scientists think its possible to slow it down. But even to reverse it... now that would be awesome

Yeah, that makes more sense.
