SAW Opeth and the opening
ACT was Enslaved. I wore a
Dissection t-shirt, because
Opeth is a Swedish band. I was very impressed with
Enslaved and it was the first time that I had heard their music. I like the grim vocals, because they sound different, and I think better than the usual scandinavian grim vocals.
Opeth played the usual array of their popular songs. The vocalist and lead guitarist spent a little too much time talking to the fans in between songs, this became boring. He taste tested 2 different American beers on stage. First he tried the Bud-light beer and didn't like it. I know that it sucks. Then he tried a bottle of Sierra Nevada India
Pale ale, he liked it, just as I do. Not too many good metal bands come to my home town of Tucson,AZ. Next December, I plan to see the
Vader concert that is scheduled nearby. I hope that they offer better t-shirts than what is available from Rockabilia, on line.
