i think anyone smart enough to look Beyond the shroud of religion would be able to find the truth, human beings are by nature, gullible, and will belive just about anything they are told, luckily, my family was never really religious, but neither were they atheists, we just never discussed where we went when we Die, i made my own decision that i'm not sure what exactly happens when we die. but it definantly has Nothing to do with how much money you give to your local church to help senator Bastard run for a 2nd term in the senate, religion and politics (especially in the U.S.) go hand-in-hand. and anyone dumb enought to fall for these evangelical bullshit schemes deserves an everlasting torment. anyone remember Oral Roberts? the Evangelical pastor that said if his congregation didn't donate 1 Million Dollars to him that GOD would Kill him? he ended up makin over a Million dollars off that ridiculous "revelation" . i honestly belive that there is no GOD watching over us or protecting us, however, i believe it is still possible there may be some "Divine Force" that created Life within the Universe.

I believe in Evolution (and all that entails it), GOD (not religion), and The Eternal return (Friedrich Nietzsche's theory). I was raised Catholic, but I'm more of a deist now (believe in GOD, not religion). Faith is fine, but barely any good has come out of organized religion. The Crusades, witch burnings, terrorism, massacres, and many more things throughout history. I believe in the watches over us part, but not really the protected point.

Islam was taken and changed from the original ideals (which were fine) and made into the extremists ideals today.

Don't get me started on Jehovah Witness', Mormons, and (one of the worst and most stupid) Scientology.

You're right there, Islam was supposed to be the cleanest and friendliest religion, but now everyone who hears Islam thinks of Mass murder, thanks to the extremists.

Religion is not something bad, it was meant to promote peace and give people the strength to believe in something, it's actually the people who are so ignorant and  use religion as an excuse for war, money and murder.

You are right in that but IMO religion is also a cheap excuse to cure incertainity and to flee from reality in a dangerous way. Fanatics give their lives to go to 'heaven'. I believe in all scientific proves and theories of life and evolution. I'm not creationistic but atheistic and a little satanic   (only because satanism has more down-to-earth views on life than christianity)

It's good to hear some sense from a fellow Atheist. But I'm curious, how can you be an Atheist and be a little satanic? Atheists don't believe in anything supernatural.

Technically, most Satanism is just Atheism that is Extreme on anti-Christian values. Luciferianism is the religion for believing in Lucifer/Satan/etc..

I don't believe in a technical Heaven, but more of the thought that the mind can't really cease to exist.

I meant that as many Satanists aren't even religious (not religious = Atheistic). I am sorry if I said it wrong. Obviously there are Theistic Satanists, but I'm talking about the ones that don't believe in anything; Symbolic Satanists and LaVeyan Satanists claim this title, follow all anti-Christian ways, but they are Atheists (or Agnostics). I'm basing this off what I know of, so correct anything that I said if necessary.

I just don't understand how LaVeyan Satanists can claim the title of being atheists. They have their own bible and church. It seems like a religion to me and therefor hypocritical.

But I know absolutely fuck all about Symbolic Satanists and LaVeyan Satanists, so I can't really comment about it.
