9/10. Holy shit...best thing posted on here in a LONG long time. At first it was like "let's get that nature feel goin with some dank as shit trumpeting and whatnot" and then it was like "hell yeah! Black fucking metal!" and then it was all "FUCK YEAH LET'S GET SOME SICKASS FLUTE UP IN THIS BITCH" and then it went "WE'RE NOT DONE YET LET'S SPICE THIS SHIT UP WITH SOME ASS RAPINGLY AWESOME CLEANS"
That's my guess of the bands' thought Process when they wrote the song.

When I'm at a loss at what to post I just post my favorite band. Here ya go. One of the better tracks on The Mantle, and arguably the best.

Oh, and one more thing: Can you guys post more than just the numerical rating or a one-liner about the band when you rate it? It doesn't happen that often, and I've been gulty of it before myself, but it's still really fucking annoying.

Martolea is a one man project. He plays all instruments including the flutes, pipes, horns, kaval and other traditional instruments, he's also been a session musician for Negura Bunget. He lives near my hometown, even met the dude on new year's , so the folky bits of the songs derive from some traditional old romanian songs.
 
The new full length album is better than his demo, in my opinion.

Now, Alcest is awesome. 9/10
When they played their first live show with Agalloch in Bucharest last year, it was funny to see how all women seemed to Ambush the Alcest guys for pictures and autographs... while Agalloch got guys mostly.
 
 

Martolea plays in that cheesy starting intro, but the sound gets more consistent gradually.

8/10 Good song but the intro is a bit strange to me. Negura Bunget is touring with Enslaved, correct me if wrong and soon they'll come to Belgium. Guess wo'll be there?
