Well he's normally into pretty gay music so it's obvious he'd like Sacramentum. They're like a slightly less shitty version of Dissection, which ain't sayin much.

also, 8/10 for the song above me. Good shit.

I've been friggin Addicted to Burzum lately, and this is the best song off my favorite Burzum album. Not my all time favorite Burzum song, but it still smokes some serious face.

I think you all know I love Burzum...
Jesu Dod is the first Burzum song I heard, and it's still one of my favorites. Varg rips his drumkit a new asshole from start to finish, and those guitars... he alternates from 4-6 notes per second, he keeps timing perfectly... and it's probably the most agressive Burzum song.
9/10

Since you brought up Burzum, have you listened to any of the 'forgotten tracks'? (AKA the tracks Varg decided to omitt from his studio albums). Here's my favorite forgotten Burzum track:

The Burzum song Enigmatick posted was a whole lot better! that song gets a 10 from me.

4/10 Just not interesting, a bit of guitar wanking here and there, and they could really use a a hook for this kind of music.

My discovery yesterday, Viter, a band from over the mountains in Ukraine. They have a somewhat resemblance with Negura Bunget when dealing with their instrumentation, they do something quite beautiful on their first and only EP Dzherelo (released in 2010).

Other Ukrainian bands worth checking out are Drudkh, Kroda (?????)

7.5/10. Damn, too bad that was good, I really wanted to make a joke about that song being "one of fail" or something lame like that.

Here's a sweet song from one of my newfound favorite bands.

8/10 Nice bit of Black/Thrash.

This next song gives me a boner. I so Wish I was there!
