Which bands do you think that have built almost them entire fan base from a single album or even a single track!?!?!?!

I...Think...SUICIDE SILENCE... is an excellent example of a single album (The Cleansing) that has made a HUGE impact on the "core" scene, and built almost all of their fans. Now... they are still taking the same guitar tabs and drumming from the cleansing.

What other bands do you think are one hit/album wonders?

Suicide Silence are very very overrated. Others may say the exacts same about some of my music (Enig has already pointed this out with stonesour. haha).

Um. . .one hit wonders. I would deffinately say Celebrity skin from Hole is a prime example of a one hit wonder, along with 'She Hates me" from Puddle of Mud.

They are the songs that made them.

"Psycho" and "Fámous" are two other hit songs by Puddle Of Mudd, don't think that "She Hates Me" was their only hit song though it was The One that got the most attention.

A lot of post-hardcore/metalcore stuff nowadays was pretty flash in the pan...though there usually wasn't a definitive "hit song", they just kind of rode on the coattails of the scene for around a year or so. Like, who the Hell listens to Motionless In White or Attack Attack! anymore? These bands aren't just lame, they're a forgotten trend.

Goatmoon is trendy as all Hell too. seems like a few years ago everybody loved them, now they're just kinda there. Really shitty music too, some of the worst pagan/NSBM I've heard in years.

The Evanescence album ''Fallen'' got loads of attention, especially the song ''Bring Me To Life'' That was a big hit in 2003, it was also the Soundtrack to the Dare Devil movie. That single hit number one in the UK singles chart.

I Still listen to Motionless In White sometimes but i agree with Attack Attack. It seems as their time to shine was just a supernova

What about Storm and Kvist, the former being a side project of Fenriz and Satyr that was Viking metal and the latter being a Black Metal band. They both released only one very good album each and then broke up, and Kvist I know got their album in a certain Top 100 Black Metal Albums list, and I think it was all the way up in the 15th spot or something.

True about Storm and Kvist, but they remain good bans anyway, same with Isengard.

Ancient Rites anyone? They make good music but they are forgotten like hell. if they were Norwegian, they would be in the BM upper classes

Gonna go on a limb here and say song 2 from blur is a one hit wonder.
