Of course, that sort of thing is just blunt stereotyping. Girls like what they like... but I get what you're saying. Where I live, girls don't like metal unless it's Nu Metal. And even then I only know about 2 that do.

Em...I'm a girl (at least last time I checked, lol) I'll tell you what I like from your list. 
 
Arch Enemy - that is a good band, especially live: the female vocalist has a really strong presence on stage.
Metallica (old) and 2 songs from Death Magnetic are pretty decent

So I don't think your survey worked that well , maybe in your area.
 
A lot metal chicks I know like doom/gothic/ Black Metal (My Dying Bride is especially popular here ), also melodic and Symphonic Metal genres. Some like old school Death Metal and others only Hard Rock,power/heavy (clear vocals only). A lot like something out of everything.
 Don't know anybody that's into Hardcore, though, but some of them used to listen to System Of A Down and Korn in high school, maybe still do.
 
So it just depends on the people. But it seems guys don't really like metal women that much, from what I've noticed. Maybe it's only around here.
