InfinityZero says : Arch Enemy has made the Chart 200 several times.
Also Disturbed, Korn, (even besides Korn's dubstep album), Black Sabbath (their new single is in the top singles of 2013 right now), AC/DC (they seem to constantly be on some sort of best-selling chart and they still are now), Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Iced Earth, Cradle of Filth... and apparently in Europe there are constantly bands in charts like this, but I can't know for sure. But I think I've made my point; it happens a lot.

The closest thing to metal in the Aria charts (Australian Recording Industry Association) recently was Bring me the Horizon. And that's like a rarity for something like that to even be on the charts. But I guess they've incorporated a much more of a focus towards an audience of the masses in Sempiternal (I might review it sometime).

Here is the current list that we have.

Justin Bieber, little shithead;
Korean and Chinese mainstream music, except the girls bands, for the chicks are super hot, but musically speaking, well, I will let you Decide by yourselves, check those MV out:

The beginning is pretty scary but look at them go at 00:50:

And this is what a boys band looks like in Korea and China, appalling! That's the nicest word I could come up with, 'cause I tried very hard not to fall into The Abyss of rudeness...

Justin Bieber still makes music? I thought he was a political activist now ("FUCK YOU, BILL CLINTON!"). Anyway, music that's industrial conveyor-belt levels of mainstream is bad, always. But in China/Korea, it borders on child abuse.

Baby Bieber is a political activist now? Wow, that must be something!

You may be surprised to know that some girls in those bands are almost in their 30's, though I'm not sure if the chicks in those MV above really are. Anyway, they just like to make themselves look younger and cute. Maybe it is a unconscious pervert thing that makes korean guys tick. Japanese guys surely do!

 No, he vandalized a restaurant, urinated in a janitor's mop bucket, and sprayed a portrait of Bill Clinton with Windex while yelling, "FUCK YOU, BILL CLINTON!" And his monkey friend recorded all of it. I don't know about you, but this batshit Insane behaviour representing the fall of innocence from an idol who was supposed to be wholesome has made me a Bieber fan. I can't wait for him to Kill someone! In case you're curious:

@ Infinity:
Your video made my day, man! Especially that fatty blondy who kept babbling about how he was amazed by the increasing stupidity of Bieber's actions.
It's just a few brats going WILD, trying to get intention by doing some provocative shit, there's Nothing to fuss about. But if it was my kid, I would Kick his butt big time! What can I say, being a DAD sometimes makes me forget I, too, did some crazy things when I was a young boy.

This also reminds me of the coverage of the last Hellfest made by the French media. Those dumbasses  kept saying that Metal, and especially Extreme Metal, had a very bad influence on young people and compared Metal gigs to satanist gatherings! Ho boy, what a load of crap!
We shocked the so called normal people, good! That was the purpose, End of story! We'll do worse next year! They even should organize the gigs in old folks' homes, that should help the French government to reduce the tremendous cost of pensions. Who will say Metal has a bad influence after that!

I think there's more of interest going on with the Bieber thing than just a few kids being stupid. He doesn't get in any trouble; not even so much as a slap on the wrist. He also recently ran off from a simulation sky-diving place, avoiding paying over $1,100 (robbery). It's interesting because it's making me understand the social bubble environment celebrities grow up in and how easy it must be for them to fall to the ground with nothing. The don't get Punished and don't understand the Harm they're doing because they've LOST the ability to understand other people.

...It is kinda funny, though ;)

The comparison to satanists in metalheads will probably always exist. Black Sabbath was called Satanic despite having Christian-themed songs (Wall Of Sleep, After Forever, Lord of This World, etc). It's a response to things that break custom and Defy perceived social norms. The thing is, you could compare any big gathering (like a concert) to any religion. I'm just surprised it was France saying this... it must've been a conservative station.
