at "autotune is killing the music industry". Pretty much every single mainstream metal band out there (or at least a band who has access to the technology) uses autotune or some other form of pitch correction software. All it does is make a studio performance a little more well-rounded and clean- I do agree it can be overused, but any producer that doesn't suck balls or isn't producing an album by a singer who can't sing for jack fuck in the first place (read: Kesha) knows how to make it sound unnoticeable.

Hell, Agalloch uses pitch correction. If you Hate on autotune you're hating on Agalloch. That makes me a Sad panda.

I mean, when auto-tune is just way overused in virtually any rap or pop song.  My friend loves Drake, and when he "sings" it just sounds like garbage.  I realize anyone who using technology when producing music uses some type of pitch software, I'm not some oldster who thinks technology is the Devil I'm just saying artists these days are using it Far too often and they are gaining success from not really performing haha.  When I hear Timo Kotipelto from Stratovarius singing live, he sounds the exact same way on the record.  I have the same feeling with Ralf Scheepers from Primal Fear and of course Bruce from Maiden.  They sound almost the same as they do on their albums.  I just don't care for any music that makes auto-tune their main priority and use it every song.  And I don't Hate on Agalloch I enjoy their music, just any artist that uses auto-tune way too often is all.  No need to be a Sad Panda
