As everybody here knows, I'm no fan of the trendy stuff, with that being said, I don't mean to bash it constantly, but bands in that genre really tend to have a "shelf life" everyone loves em when they first come out, but after an album or two they're old news. That's the way they all are, at least the way I see it.

Yeah, Bands rise to the top at the start of their career. But the only way to go from there is down. FAST, and Bring Me The Horizon is a perfect example of that.

Also maby because he Voice started screwing up after Count Your Blessings. It was definitely evident in Suicide Season and was Obvoius in  There Is A Hell Believe Me Ive Seen It There Is A Heaven Lets Keep It A Secret. Also their music had to adapt to the lead singers vocal changes but even they kinda went Down hill.

Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier, was disappointing. Their worst album of the 2000's.

Nah, it was fine. Obviously they're never going to live up to the standards they set with their 80's material, so I didn't bother hoping for a new Powerslave or Seventh Son or something...and by those standards, it's a solid, professional slab of hard-rock type stuff.

If his Voice is ruined after their first years then he's doing something wrong like many Metalcore vocalists. Many of those guys Suffer soon or lately from laryngitis (inflammation of the vocal chords). That's because they use their vocal chords too Intense, often with the wrong technique, and with too many ups and downs: clean vox- scream - clean - scream... Cores are worse for the Voice than BM or DM. I never heard that Gaahl, Nergal or Corpsegrinder needed surgery, Matthew Tuck does

but I didn't like his latest release, you'd figure that since they take years to make these albums they'd be decent.

Here it turns out the albums they rushed (in a sense) turn out good, Hell I remember they said when they recorded Paranoid (album) they did it in a couple of days.
I really havent liked anything from Bark at the Moon to present.  It all sounds very pop-ish.
