True, but it still condemns them. And that causes only Hate and prejudice.

Should I take it you're religious?

the story in the 8th chapter of John about a women caught in Adultery is what i was referencing.  I wasnt saying that to you as a command.  i apologize for seeming I was.
In that story a women is brought to Jesus by several men in the village who were getting ready to Stone her for adultery.  Jesus said let any of you without Sin cast the 1st stone. & simply wrote something in the dirt with his finger.  one by one the crowd disbursed; the oldest to the youngest leaving.  The Sin of Adultery brought on the Death Sentence like homosexuality, murder & being a disrespectful child.  My point is the Bible instructs Christians to show mercy.
also to answer your question am I religious IDK.  I am a Christian; im not one that throws the Bible in people's faces telling them they have to do something or not do something.
I hope I dont come over as "extreme"

No problem, I can respect your beliefs (lots of people are religious in my country and in my family) and I surely hope you are very selective about those teachings. A lot of them are quite indicated to create your moral compass.

I knew what you were referencing (unless you are free of Sin, you may not Kill them, however they are regarded with suspicion and animosity which will cause exclusion from the community - fair enough, tough luck, they did cheat. Wait, the part where you can't kill unless free from Sin came a few hundred/thousand years later. Oops.)

I've read the Bible a few times before, quite a damaging experience for a 13 year old, especially at the Old Testament part. I was just emphasizing that part where they didn't take into consideration the collateral damage such as women, children and animals coming from burning a city that tolerates homosexuality.

Also, not very flattering for women in general, I believe this book is the Origin of misogynism - this is how the Fact that women are Evil and inferior was spread world wide.

Sure, some fanatic religion would have been created regardless of Christianity at some point in history, since such is human nature. So, in The End, we reap what our narrow minded ancestors sow.

I do appreciate your respect for my beliefs.  I likewise respect yours.  I also enjoy a harmless debate.  I can be a gluten for punishment.
Now I dont get where the Bible says women are Evil and inferior just because they are women.  I do know it calls them the weaker vessel, but that isnt the same thing.   I am aware that in the islamic religion they are a 2nd class citizen.  It is pathetic the way they are treated in that religion.   Do you disagree?

Most religions are unfair to women.
Marriage was introduced to religion as a way to control women, as was the whole 'witchcraft' and witch burning thing. It was all a way to keep women from progressing ahead of men, all based on religion.

I don't know how many times I've said this, but since no one wants to listen, I'll repeat myself again .
The only people who stick out in religion are the fanatics, the good guys are always left out. The thing is that most people misunderstand the books, the fanatics take it to Extreme, and do quite ridiculous things, on which the religion itself is judged by the actions of the fanatics. Like I know that the Bible doesn't Degrade women, nor does the Quran. The only thing it says (I know of) is that women should not be too....well, slutty. They should be treated equal like anyone else. However the guys in the (mostly) arabic countries take it like they should Treat their women like their properties, out of fear that they might become whores.

Horseshit.

"Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man" (Corinthians 11:9)

"Let your women keep Silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church." (Corinthians 14:24-25)

"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the Head of the wife, even as Christ is the Head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." (Ephesians 5:22-23)

"How then can man be justified with God? or , how can he be clean [that is] Born of a woman?" (Job 25:4)

"If a man sells his daughter to be a maidservant or bondswoman, she shall not go out in Six years as maidservants do. If she does not please her Master who has not espoused her (that Means married), he shall let her be redeemed." (Exodus 21:7-8)

Am I missing something here? That's extremely sexist, in my opinion.
I don't know about the Quran, but I'm sure it's just as bad.

They are instructed to keep their women as property by their holy book.

Well okay, maybe I was wrong with the Bible...but Hell, I haven't read it, so how should I know.
But the Quran says that GOD crated all humans equal and they should be treated like that.

Here's a quote I found:
"O You who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will, and you should not Treat them with harshness, that you may take away part of the Mahr (bridal-money given by the husband to his wife at time of marriage) you have given them, unless they commit open illegal sexual intercourse. And live with them honorably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings
through it a great deal of good." (An-Nisa 4:19)

And a quote from Muhammad:
"Assuredly, women are the twin halves of men."

Note that I'm not trying to be on either side here, I'm just stating what I know, you can throw as much shit as you want at me now. And this is the last I contribute to this topic, I don't like religious debates.

Oh, and Infinity, no need to react so aggressively man
