Here, you can post pics and descriptions of new albums or merch you got, as well as talk about it.
You can also post pics of merch/albums you're Dying to get rid of, whether by trading and buying. Try and buy/trade from other forum members! It's a good way to get rid of stuff you don't like anymore and give it to people who would want it!

Basically, this is a market for your metal stuff! 0

Here're a couple of shirts I want to get rid of:

AAAAND

Private message me if you have any interest in either (or both) shirts, and bring up a shirt that you'd be willing to trade for them. I doubt anyone's gonna be interested (especially in the Slipknot one), but man I've had both these shirts for a while after I got disinterested in the bands and I'd like to make room in my closet for shirts that are of decent bands. 0  I'll also let the Slipknot shirt go for $10 Canadian (which is about 7.21 Euros).

Oh, both shirts are Medium.

I AM PUTTING THIS UP FOR TRADE:

It's Burzum's 2008 'Anthology', which is a compilation CD. Comes in a Jewel case, small crack on the plastic of the case, but everything else is fine. I don't need it anymore since I own everything worthwhile from Burzum in vinyl. This is up for trade w/ other CDs/LPs only. I RECOMMEND THIS IF YOU WANT TO GET INTO Burzum; THIS IS WHAT GOT ME TO LIKE BURZUM'S MUSIC. IT INCUDES AT LEAST ONE SONG FROM EVERY Burzum RELEASE.

TRACK LISTING:
Feeble Screams from Forests Unknown
Stemmen Fra Tarnet
Lost Wisdom
Svarte Troner
Det Som Engang VAR
Jesu Dod
Decrepitude II
Balferd Baldrs
Ansuzgardaraiwo

I'd easily trade it for any Burzum CD, but I'd trade with it for a lot of other stuff too.

Damn, Nothing of interest on your list there.
Interesting to see some of the stuff you used to be into though...
like Green Day? Seriously? 0

Even when I was 10 I thought their stuff was lame.
But I guess I can't say anything 'cause I used to be into Nickelback and Linkin Park.

Oh, and just out of interest, do you ever buy vinyls?

Me liking Green Day in the past is Nothing compared to the awful hip-hop I got into back in my teenage years. I dropped rock and metal for that shit, but I did grow up with rock and metal on the stereo with my mum and older brothers playing it, so maybe I was just rebelling and wanting to be different from them and maybe piss em off a bit. My older brothers were punks so they hated it.

However, hip-hop got me back into metal with Limp, Korn, Deftones and Linkin Park that was back in my early twenties. So I owe nu-metal a little something.

And no I don't buy vinyls, it's 2011 for fuck sake

Wow, so you actually had a period after getting into metal where you didn't like it? Shoot, as soon as I got into metal I've never looked back. And yeah, for me metal started with more known and modern acts like Rammstein, Disturbed and Powerman 5000. I also listened to the occassional Papa Roach. Do you have any CDs by good bands that you're selling? 0

Pshhh, vinyls are WAY better than CDs. I don't care what year it is.
Too bad though, because I just got a second copy of Blue Oyster Cult's first album in first pressin, and I was wondering if I could trade it off on anyone.

Thanks for putting people off buying my old CDs!

What's wrong with...

acdc
Anthrax
Black Sabbath
Communic
Diamond Head
Dio
Firewind
Helloween
i
Iced Earth
iron maiden
Manowar
Megadeth
Pantera
Primal Fear
Rhapsody Of Fire
Saxon
Seven Witches
Slayer
Venom

Are you saying that they're not good bands?

I never completely stopped listening to metal and rock in the mid to late 90s, I would now and again listen to the albums my parents and brothers owned. I just would never listen to anything that was new at the time. All my money was going on NWA, Cypress Hill, Snoop, Dre and utter crap like that. Looking back it looks like I didn't miss anything that great anyway. At that time there was Black Metal, and Grunge and I just didn't appreciate that like I do today.
In fact if you think about today's metal scene is shit hot, SO MANY good bands. But what does the modern metal Head do? Bitch and moan about other genres, this bands not metal and that band is gay, you even get the ones who say all the bands in my list aren't any good (I'm pointing at you Infinity)

Are you saying that they're not good bands?

No, but for those bands, they're pretty much standard. Black Sabbath, Megadeth, etc are pretty obligitory, and between my parents and my brother they have everything by a lot of these bands.

Oh, and there is something wrong with AC/DC. Just sayin'.
Aaaaand to add to my general pickiness, I only want Slayer's SITA if it's on vinyl. I really want that Beast on some good old fashioned turntable. 0

Anyway, I generally don't complain about newer metal, because it's sorta like glam metal. Lots of metalheads back then (apparently) bitched about glam metal while bands like Metallica and Megadeth were all around them, and it's pretty much the same now. And for me, I don't find Nu Metal unlistenable or anything. I can tolerate Nu Metal, and I even like some of it (from Disturbed).

Anyway, I keep looking at your list to see if anything jumps out at me that didn't before. Just wondering, would you be willing to trade one CD for another here, or are you looking for actual cash?
