| says : Sargeist - Let the Devil In just came in the mail. This is some of the best new Black Metal I've heard in a long time. Fulla great, empowering, catchy-as-shit pure black fuckin metal riffage. I never thought I'd say this but I Wish I listened to minirad back when he was hyping this shit up. |
| Panzerjager says : What's wrong with a bass guitar in BM? Quite some bm bands have rather loud bass guitars nowadays: One Tail One Head, Negura Bunget, The Stone, almost all war Black Metal bands |

Exactly. And most old norsk Black Metal had a good bass presence besides Darkthrone, but Darkthrone is lame anyway so who cares. Then you have the bands without a bassist at all like Urfaust, and they still sound awesome. |
| Panzerjager says : I wouldn't call Darkthrone lame, they play the Hell they want to play: if it is black, death or heavy metal/punk nowadays. I respect that attitude and well, they piss off quite some whiney immature fans for changing styles so radically |
