GUESS WHO FINALLY GOT OFF HIS ASS TO POST HIS NEWEST ALBUM PURCHASES!

Here's my haul of stuff I got since the last time I posted! I am very happy with this load of vinyl! They all sound AWESOME!

So here we have Electric Wizard's 'Come My Fanatics' (I don't care what you say; this album is better than Dopethrone!), Nuclear Assault's 'Handle With Care' (the vinyl on this one is bright blue; this was kind of a reflex-buy as I don't particularly like Nuclear Assault, but still pretty good), Opeth's 'Damnation' (I don't love Opeth but I will say that I do love their acoustic, non-metal album--I think it's their strongest release, at least from what I've heard), Pagan Hellfire's 'Solidarity', which is a nifty local release so I bought it for the $15 asking price... it's pretty generic, but okay. xD And the single in the centre is a split between Striborg and Scurshahor. Striborg, as you NSBM fans will know, is a fairly-big American Black Metal band. I can stand this sort of stuff in smaller doses so this buy was perfect for me. I've never heard of the other band, Scurshahor before, but it was very interesting Drone and experimental music with cello in it and stuff. Pretty cool. The final album here is Burial Chamber Trio's 'WVRM', and let me tell you I just about had a Heart Attack when I Saw this. The band is Attila Csihar's, which he formed after leaving Mayhem and recording DMDS, featuring O'Malley from Sunn O))). They were only around for a year and released Two albums in single pressings... and this is one of them! Got it for fucking Seven DOLLARS NEW!

Some of the classics in this picture! At the top we have PInk Floyd's 'Animals' (one of the best albums ever made, IMO), and 'Wish You Were Here' (this is the 2011 repressing... came with a big-ass poster, great protective packaging, and the sound on this vinyl is probably some of the best I've ever heard). Below are Two BOC albums (that's Blue Oyster Cult, of course). The first is
On Your Feet or On Your Knees, which is a live album. BOC sound amazing live and always add stuff to their better songs during performance so you can't go wrong getting a live album from them. The other is Tyranny and Mutation which is one of my all-time favourite rock albums with songs like Wings Wett'd Down on it.
And finally, the 180gr repressing of Black Sabbath's Paranoid, which sounds just fucking great. I love this album so much.

So yeah, that's about it. Oh, I also got a Thrones CD for Day Late, Dollar Short which I thought was a really great album. I just don't wanna go back and photograph it. But Trust me, it's a good album.

Very nice albums IZ! Can I ask you something about the Wish You... Album?
Do you also have the impression if you play the title track tha it soun very very Silent compared to the reset when played at a standard listenable volume? I experience this when listening to the cd

Uhhhh...
$150? I got most of them for really good prices, including buying Opeth's Damnation for $19. Oh, and Floyd's 'Animals' was a gift, so...

Uhhhh... well, the album goes into an interlude after Have a Cigar where it's very quiet, and the start of the title track is played that way, but it gets louder at the first solo, or at least it should... and then the rest of the song continues at normal volume. That's what I find. Have you heard all of Wish You Were Here?

Yes I did, but the Silent start makes it - for me- harder to Unfold what Pink Floyd is playing ( guitar transscription )
