I wasn't counting pre-Michael Bay Transformers movies, as I've never seen any classic transformers before.
...Wasn't the show basically just a series of 20-minute commercials for the toys?

Last.fm: Mercenarion

Only thing I even remember about the 1986 movie is Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron. I've never really been all for the Transformer cartoons, guess I just never really got the appeal of them. Might rewatch it though.




The Rock is a pretty solid movie, i'd say. It's not a Masterpiece by any Means, but I think Nic Cage and Sean Connery do a good job in that movie. I haven't seen it in a long time but I remember that it wasn't as jarringly edited as some of Bay's later movies too, which wins it some points in my book.

Yep. Leonard Nimoy voiced Galvatron and Orson Welles voices Unicron. I need to find a copy of that movie. The cartoons have been good up until a few years ago, then it became overdone and less "epic".
