InfinityZero says : I saw: Cannibal Holocaust. It's infamous for having live scenes of actual animals being butchered and it's supposed to be incredibly gross. As the pic above said, it's (one of) the most controversial films ever, second only to Passion of the Christ, Birth of a Nation, and a Clockwork Orange. Anywho, my synopsis: It was actually surprisingly boring. In the version I Saw, there were 3 animals killed on screen. A Snake was stamped to death after it was found in a guy's boot, a muskrat was stabbed through the Bottom of the neck sort of out of nowhere, which was a bit hard to watch cause it stopped moving after a few seconds... and then suddenly it came back to life again for another few seconds and started sqealing like crazy. Didn't find that terribly gross. And then there was a turtle, which was Decapitated and Gutted, the actors sorted through its fat and intestines, and there was a part of it that looked like a cheeze pizza and was all like, watery and stuff. I found that one fascinating. There were a few other scenes that were special effect, like a girl getting raped with a large rock, and a few other ones like that. Anyway, it was a neat movie, but I mean it when I say it was dull. It was good for an exploitation film, though. |
