Definitely, Theistic Satanism is no better than Christianity and I think most of the modern day beleiver's don't really beleive in it at all and are  more or less just in it for the shock value.
 
I'm tired of people making ridiculous comments about my beleifs when they clearly know Nothing about them and only know the common (and very inaccurate) stereotype's.

I don't get LaVeyan Satanism... not tryin to piss on your beliefs, but i just don't get how you can call it "Satanism" since there's no theistic Worship of any deities or the belief in an afterlife. it just sounds kinda oxymoronic... sorta like sayin "I'm a christian, but i don't believe in god"

This is all explained if you did a bit of your own research. The character of Satan represents the values that I/we beleive in. You know, free-will, free-thought, Rebellion against sheep mentality religions, especially Christianity. I don't really want to go into it here because 1) this isn't the place and 2) it would take too long.

LaVeyan Satanism makes infinitely more sense than Luciferian satanism. Luciferian satanism is the same as any retarded theistic belief, while LaVeyan Satanism is just a philosophy which centers around the admittedly fictional character of Satan. The latter is stupid because it is like living one's life according to the actions of Luke Skywalker, but it is still way better than any form of theism.

I don't live my life according to anyone, which is the point of (athesitc) Satanism. I just find that a lot of the idea's and theories LaVey presented make a lot of sense to me and I beleive in (most) of what he taught.
 
I have a strong interest in the occult/black magic but you're right, Theistic Satanism is stupid.
