Hello fellow Metal fans & musicians,

My friend & I recently launched a website which covers both Heavy Metal & Horror Films: http://www.horrormetalsounds.com/

We also have a Facebook page where Metal bands can promote their music, and fans can share and discuss topics of interest: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Horror-Metal-Sounds/1428149410738383

We have album reviews, interviews, artist spotlights and several editorials. We want to encourage bands to submit their recordings for review - and we are always looking for talented writers to contribute to the site.

Please take a minute to check us out and feel free to contact us - either through the website or at: [email protected]

Thanks for reading - keep it Metal!

Could you please elaborate more on the purpose of the site? I'm actually pretty interested.

Absolutely! The site creator & editor Kenneth Gallant HAS written numerous articles for other publications on how horror Culture & heavy Metal music often work hand-in-hand on many levels. Most notably in film, but also in more subtle forms including literature, art even gaming.

That being said he & I have built a website featuring several monthly & bi-weekly columns by a handful of writers on this subject as well horror film reviews, Metal album reviews, interviews with Metal musicians, horror writers, artists, concert & competition promoters... the list goes on & on.

We basically need to recruit more people with a strong knowledge of Metal (or horror) to help with the Ever increasing demand from labels & promoters for music reviews and interviews.

We're undergoing constant growth and we're already having to adapt our site structure to showcase so much material. We have become a place for bands to promote their material - and we will happily promote a lot of up and coming bands as well as signed artists.

That being said we are not a forum website. Our audience interaction takes place on our Facebook page, with additional Cross promotion on Twitter and eventually YouTube once we start to create video blogs & magazines.

But the best way for you to get a feel for what we're about is to simply visit the site and see if it's something that would like to write for. If you want to showcase your reviews writing skills through us or would like to interview bands for us. Or perhaps you have an idea in mind for a column of your own.

Whatever the case please write to us at [email protected] if you would like to offer your services. We would be excited to hear from you.

Thanks,
Rich Leggatt
