I love Blue Oyster Cult's first three albums.
I like Led Zeppelin, but the Fact that they ripped off so much of their music from black blues singers of the 30s sorta bothers me.
I love everything I've Ever heard by Pink Floyd but I don't think anyone considers them Hard Rock, so...
 
Can't think of many other Hard Rock bands that aren't ridiculously overrated.
