"I am tired and Sick of war. Its glory is all
moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the
shrieks and groans of The Wounded who cry aloud for Blood, for
vengeance, for desolation"

That is such an amazing quote.

Here is another:

 I maybe sound too lame quoting Novembers Doom but whatever;
"Failure I cannot fix, false hope for Nothing
this is the life I lead, and tomorrow will not change."

I know there is no Wisdom in it  but I it's something I can relate to, unfortunately.

I have always lived by this quote, "Everything happens for a reason".... since I don't believe in any GOD, I blieve in fate. Even when I'm going through rough times, I know eveything will get better eventually.. but it still hurts for the moment 0

"Is GOD willing to prevent Evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?"
[Epicurus]

i find this to be half truth. having been in iraq for 2 tours, you find there are those of us who find no place for war in our lives and have no Desire to Fight for the lost cause. but on the other hand, some people have it in there Blood to be on the front lines and it becomes there heroin, they enjoy the thrill of knowing they can Die at any given time... i refer to these as mentally unstable sadomasochists.
