I had to say Thrash.  Just the speed, aggressiveness and all of the glorious guitar lines, bass grooves and double bass drums makes me oh so happy I love the bands from the '80s like Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Toxik, Xentrix etc.  But newer bands like Warbringer, Havok and Toxic Holocaust are also incredible.

Most certainly Death Metal is mine. Specifically the goregrind/ slamming Brutal Death Metal subgenres. Although all genres of metal have good artists.
