citation :gradymayhem says : Anyways, it seems that everyone started watching Porn out out curiosity of the opposite sex's body, or the mechanics of sex. Doesn't this point to some kind of deficiency in what kids learn about sex? Kids shouldn't have to resort to Porn to learn about a perfectly natural process. Also, am I the only one who actively experimented instead of watching porn?

I don't think this is true. I live in Canada and our school began the sex-ucation when I was in
Grade three and
Eight years old. It answered a lot of questions and when I moved to another part of Canada later, in comparison the stuff I learned in Gr 3 was much more detailed than what we learned in the other place. The education was detailed and went a lot of unnecessary places to give kids a broader scope and of course mentioned condoms and obvious stuff... even though I learned about this stuff in a Cathy school. Anywho, I don't know about you, but a diagram of a woman's vagina isn't good enough--I had never seen the
ACT of
Sex or what any of this stuff REALLY looks like. I shouldn't have to mention that a lot of sex-ucation is personal. And of course there was an underlying context of eroticism which I feel kids need to explore when their hormones start going off and puberty starts. So no, I don't believe that kids watching
Porn is any indicator of how well the school is teaching them.
About 'weird' stuff, I guess that whole thing is really subjective. Depends on what arouses you and what confuses you
Some of the weirder stuff I've seen is admittedly hentai which can, some of the time, turn out to be hilarious. Asides from obvious tentacle rape things, I
Saw this video snippet from some hentai movie where
Two lesbians start doin' each other with a double-dildo...
One girl orgasms and
Wings grow out of her
Head and she gains the ability to teleport which she then uses to lick
Random orifices on the other girl's body.
I found this hysterical. Not even erotic, just... hilarious.
citation :fullsweep says : I'm one of the strange people who chose 'other.' I have watched or looked at Porn and have 'enjoyed' it on a certain level. However, I do think it's wrong from a moral perspective and I'm completely okay with that (i.e. no apologies for that belief). I think it objectifies the participants and victimizes people--particularly women and children. |
It depends on the porn.
Any
Porn that involves consenting adults only, people who haven't been manipulated, blackmailed or whatever in order to be made to do the
Porn, and people that are over the age of 'minor'.
As
Far as sexism goes, I think the objectification is an obvious part of the fantasy. But is it that the
Porn depicts objectification, or is it really people being objectified? Anyway, to all the femi-nazis out there who
Hate pr0n CAUSE IT SEXIST, a quick search will show you there's a shit load of
Porn featuring objectified men as opposed to women and scenarios in which women are vastly dominant. From this perspective
Porn revolves around what the viewer wants to see, which may feature blatant objectification, but it may not.
Oh and even if you want to see child
Porn, it should be illegal.
So there are exceptions to the rule, I guess.
