Oh, well I at least get that comparison to In Sorte Diaboli. I was just happy that it wasn't In Sorte Diaboli.

Yeah, for sure. It´s already better than In Sorte Diaboli, but every time I hear that song I just feel like it´s too jumbled, and a failed attempt at atmosphere. Who knows though, maybe the album will have a diamond in the rough like 'Kings of The Carnival Creation' off P.E.M.

We can hope. Early hands-on reviews have said that Gateways was the worst song on the album. Hopefully that is true.

Oh, no, really?
That isn´t a good Sign; when a single is released and the band gets crap for it, this sort of thing happens to make the fans feel better about the song. You should go on metal-archives.com. Gateways is being torn to pieces by the reviewers.

That first review on the Archives... it was scary.

Haha, oh you mean the 0% one? I laughed pretty hard at that one. But this seems to be one of those "OMFG THIS DOESN´T SOUND EXACTLY LIEK BURYUM OR Darkthrone THERE POSERS N FAGS N SELLOUTS N SHIT" type of people.

Another song has been released (oddly not leaked, it was given by Nuclear Blast?)

I put the link because it would impossible otherwise (until the release, duh). It sounds better than Gateways, but Dimmu cannot be considered symphonic Black Metal after hearing this. Symphonic Dark Metal fits it just right.
