Following the release of their critically-lauded, Nuclear Sun long player, Barcelona-based neoclassical darkwave project, Der Blaue Reiter, returns from the pillars of oblivion with a new collection of mirthless hymns centered on post-apocalyptic desolation.
Titled Le Paradis Funèbre II - L' Adieu Du Silence, the stunning, near hour-long opus boasts eleven haunting compositions inspired by a tragic vision of a world governed by secret societies, Warfare, disease and the last days of mankind. Considered to be the second chapter of Der Blaue Reiter's 2004 debut, L'enver Du Tristesse/Le Paradis Funebre, each of the record's deliberately discomforting movements is rife with compelling orchestrations, cinematic soundscapes and Majestic industrial and martial ambience. Le Paradis Funèbre II - L' Adieu Du Silence was mastered by Peter Bjärgö (Sophia/Arcana), features collaborations with Alina (Lamia Vox), Cecilia Bjärgö (Arcana/Sophia) and Daniela Bedeski (Rosa Rubea) and serves as the project's darkest Creation to date, where light is just a rumor, and the future a legend.
