Why is everyone dising Suicide Silence and saying that they are not Brutal. How aren't they though. The Breakdows are heavy, speed is very fast and the vocals sound awesome.

Although I Hate them with a passion, there is no doubt that they are brutal. Not one of the most Brutal bands of all time, but it ranks slightly high. About a 6.5 or 7 out of 10 on the Brutality scale.

Well, if a band member says it helps him lose Stress, that has Nothing to do with brutality. ALL musicians feel relaxed when writing music. That includes non-metalists. Speed really doesn't have anything to do with heaviness, either. Look at flamenco artists, some of which could rape a guitar neck 10 times as hard as anyone in Suicide Silence and the like. But the main reason they aren't heavy is because they're only Brutal in the most cliched, overused way. By that I mean I can clearly picture them saying 'okay guys, we gotta be BRUTAL! Everything else is secondary! Just make sure we're heavy n' shit!' In The End, they sound generic, and the songs sound interchangeable, and as I said in my review, it feels like their music came off an assembly line. And of course, let me be clear here:
CHUGGING DOES NOT MAKE A BAND HEAVY.
 As Enigmatick said, they and the rest of deathcore aren't the be all end all of Brutality, not by a long shot. But of course, if you (miniradman) like Suicide Silence, that's totally fine. And don't mind people 'dissing' your band because all it is is opinion. Other people's opinions shouldn't bother you.

It doesn't bother me at all. What bothers me is when people diss a genre and have no valid reason. They just say its boring and they don't like it because they just don't they don't say why? ATM all I'm getting is I don't like it because its not Brutal and it's fake. And besides I don't think Deathcore is that Brutal (Its still fairly Brutal, Brutal Death is 10x more Brutal than Deathcore) Its just when people see what Deathcore is from the outside not really the mechanics of it.(only a true Deathcore lover would know).
