Necros Christos - Doom of the Occult

Probably one of the most immersive records released this year in the genre. Much better, by Far, than their debut Triune Impurity Rites.

I have still not successfully got into this band. The sound is amazing, but something about it makes me not love it.

As I wrote, it's much better than the debut but it's certainly not the Masterpiece some claim it to be. When it comes to Death Metal with "exotic"  interludes, I find Teitanblood's Seven Chalices much much better.

The band lacks Brutality and to me the songs are good but they all seem to be written following similar templates.

Cannibal Corpse - TOMB of the Mutilated

Guys saying this band sucks clearly should relisten to this masterpiece. Vocally wise it's not fantastic but the music is top-notch (especially the bass) and the songwriting is awesome!

YEAH!

Although in the old school death/doom category, I prefer Asphyx

just listened to Vader's latest, pretty kick-ass as much as I can tell:

and now:

Impureza - La Ilgesia Del Odio

Speaking of Vader, Litany kicks the mighty ass. Could've been a little bit more developed in the downstretch of the record, but the album is overall one of the best, no non-sense records i've heard yet from the band. Great riffs, Peter's powerful vocals, and a truly punishing drum performance.

Looking forward to the new record.

Litany is definitely their best. Their new album does not disappoint. Their best album since Litany in my opinion.

I'm not sure if Litany is Vader's best album but it ranks high enough. It's probably their most Brutal anyway but I like The Old Ones too.

Now playing:

Centinex - Subconscious Lobotomy

Demigod - Slumber Of Sullen Eyes
