Yes, yes, emo isn't exactly a popular word these days, but I like them sort of lyrics so give me a break! Now, I'm looking for more Metalcore style stuff with emo-influenced lyrics, a perfect example would be Atreyu's early work. I really enjoy powerful screaming vocals with powerful emotional lyrics.. Hope someone can help!

Naw, you are discussing music, so this section is fine.

From Autumn To Ashes and Senses Fail are basically metal + emo without going overboard.

There is also a subgenre in the bands/genres Area called "emo metal" that is just under the "metal" genre. I haven't checked it out before, but you could give that a try too.
