I don't know whether you've heard "Ars Diaboli", one of the tracks in Graveworm's first album "Scourge of Malice". It is a bit over 1 minute of Gregorian chanting and it makes a very nice break in the whole album.
Favourite track:
Abandoned by Heaven.
For me, the themes of the lyrics are quite important. I wouldn't say that every time a band writes lyrics is to send a
Message, but there's certainly a story attached to them. Let's take
Nile, for example, Karl must spend
Hell of a long time writing lyrics and making the disc jacket.
But I can't entirely disagree with you 'cause I can't go through the lyrics every time I buy a new album. Therefore, the music is an important factor too.
"????????????"
Rien n'est impossible dans ce monde, il suffit simplement de mettre du cœur à l'ouvrage.
