More and more foreigners from all over the world come to China who can speak Chinese well. Some of them are speaking cantonese well also.

My colleague's daughter is studying Oriental languages at uni and one of them is Chinese. Being a language teacher myself, I learnt from a Chinese colleague that Chinese is rather difficult not only because is it difficult to learn, but it is difficult to teach esp to westerners as well....thoughts welcome !!!
