This kind of similar to the "black metal bands you think anyone knows" except this is focuses on the < 1995 era. Which bands are people only discovering now? bands that should have deserved more attention when they were still around? Bands that left a Legacy behind?

Kvist is a defenite contestant for best failed Black Metal band. Their first album, The One with the exaggeratedly-long title, was great with songs like Stupet--the only problem was lousy production (and I don't mean cool atmospheric Black Metal production like Burzum's Filosofem, I mean like the kind of production that makes the drums sound like some kid going apeshit on a typewriter).
