Kartikeya's new album is definitely still my first pick for album of the year. the mixture of
Death Metal and Vedic instruments is so innovative and badass. Asylum cave by
Benighted was really great too, not any better than
Icon, but still a solid deathgrind release. New
Krisiun is pretty good too, better than southern storm. Fleshgod's latest release is kind of a letdown for me, way too much symphonics and annoying falsettos, half of the songs did
Nothing for me (though the egoism,
Hypocrisy, and forsaking are all great tracks). Carnival is forever was fucking awful,
GOD I
Hate that album more than the new
Morbid angel. It sounds like
Soulfly or some industrial
Nu Metal shit.
