i´m not that much into Black Metal anymore... but when i remember well there were some bands i really liked in the past. maybe i should listen to some of them from time to time...
Emperor, Satyricon, Kvist, Lord Belial...to name some. and i also liked Tsatthoggua from my home city.

New to this by the way....

Darkthrone are good but their not pure black metal..their first album soulside Journey was more towards the death scene but they progressed to black so i cant rant that bad about them, i do like them

The ones i like are Marduk, Impiety, Leviathan, Ancient, Taake...the true black, i supose Burzum and Dark Funeral sorta count
The progressive blacks not that bad either with bands like Nachtmystium, Naglfar etc
