Venom is definitely NOT a black metal band.
 
Darkthrone is somewhere an incarnation of pure black metal.
 
Emperor is one of my favorite bands, but this band is too far from The Black metal roots to be considered as the best.

Well, if we're talking about Serbian Pagan Black, I love May Result! For the rest of the world, let's say Cradle of Filth, but don't laugh at me. I know that many people don't like them, but I think they are romantic.

PS. I'm new member and think that this site is awesome.
