I worked on this site to establish an overview as complete as possible of all groups in the late 60s and early 70s laid the foundation of what today is called the "metal": classified as "Hard Rock, Heavy Rock" or "Heavy Psych" this period contains many pearls today unknown or completely forgotten ....
My question today concerns the Scottish band "Tentacle", who officiated in the early 70s. The information that I could get on this group are :

All these bands have something in common 1. They are Scottish, 2. The recordings were made 1971/72, 3. All were produced by Jim West. Tentacle are playing fine guitar rock on the high level.
  
I am looking for any additional information (line-up, pictures ...) on this Hard Rock group , who (according to critics) deserves ample figurere on this site ....

As an 40+ yr old metal-fart i have traded/bought demos since 85 so i have pretty rare collection : 2 bags full of c-cassette demos from death,doom,grind,industrial genres. too bad i havent c-cassette player so i could save this rarities to my hdd. got all beherit-demos,Impaled nazarenes,disembowelments,my Dying brides, metallicas (not all only some reherseal tapes),abhorrences (nowadays Amorphis) etc etc..

I keep everything since started (back in '88) listen to grind/metal.  Blasphemy, SAMAEL. Alastis, PANDEMONIUM, OBSCURE, VEXATION, GOREAPHOBIA  etc just to name a few. BUT, there is still a Flame burning into some people hearts producing some oustanding tapes these days too( GRAVE Ritual, MORDO etc)
