At the begining was OLD school Black Metal  different  then now (Venom-Black Metal,  Running Wild-Gates of Purgatory, Bathory-Bathory........ ) .
After this, bands like Mayhem and Burzum maded from Black Metal open Fight against Christianity.
Sure, the lands like Norway had allways strong Pagan culture roots.
Burning churches 0  was good maybe in middleage, but now is time to take our pagan Fight by different way.
Satanism and Paganism have common more than "rebelion" against  Christianity.0
Pagan Metal is maybe little bit better way to understand our culture roots.
Bands like Ammon Amarth and Ensiferum brings great legacy of  viking roots.0
Arcona (rus) and others , bringing  the Slovanic roots......
Back to the roots of Paganism 0

Pure black Metal bands like Satyricon or Dimmu Borgir have another quest.
This quest is to hold and bear the banner of  Black Metal in the front line !!! 0

Wow! That was great! I think everything changes and that's just how black metal has changed. I wonder what black metal will be like in the next 30 years or so. We all need bands such as Mayhem to Fight against Christianity and to scream our thoughts.

Slavic paganism is my life style since I was born, I was raised in Slavic family with Slavic culture and life style, so I do not mix it with music really, and in generally it is sooooo wrong since 90% of those guys doesn't give a shit about Slavic identity.

Yeah, Black Metal, Satanism and Paganism are strongly bonded. I cannot imagine them apart. As for church-burning, I don't agree, altough I'm sad they're so respected in Serbia (I'm from there). I don't think there's anything for respect. Only historical value, maybe."Pagan rituals will never part!"

Satanism is Christian/Jewish crap, it has nothing to do with Old Pagan traditions.

If i remember correctly, i've seen and read interviews with bands like Venom and it was more about having fun above all else. They were never into the whole satanic aspect other than for fun, it was bands like Burzum and Mayhem who took it an extra mile and started a bunch of crap. I don't look at music as a gateway for changing personal beliefs though, i've always been agnostic and not letting anyone but me change that. BM bands have calmed Down alot since the 90s though which i'm happy about because I Live in a bible belt and i am sick of being acused of being something i'm not, but hey i guess i bring that on myself going out in BM band t-shirts lol
