Nothing is worse than seeing your baby leave you, and by baby I mean one of your favourite bands breaking up.
Sure, I know that bands cannot last forever and some bands (especially older ones) lose their touch over time and become crappy. But there are many bands out there who broke up well into their prime and could have popped out a few more awesome albums/eps. So I'm here to ask if you know of any bands out there who you thought had potential, but broke up before they had a chance to unleash it! And you would like them to reform...
One good example that I can think of is The Yellow Sign. They started in 2007 and broke up in 2010. But in the 3 years they were active they released Two awe-inspiring EPs; Post Oblivion and Ancient. I believe that they were one of the vital links between classic progressive Death Metal and much of the progressive Deathcore that we hear today. The atmosphere that they created with their music was just so beautiful and deep... I Wanted to hear more.
If you find any underground progressive Deathcore band, the chances are that they'll list The Yellow Sign as one of their musical influences I remember having fun once, it was terrible...

Vaakevandring (unblack, Norway), released only 5 tracks. But wow were they amazing. They were at there peak but then member went into other groups such as antestor.

Godless Crusade from Italy, they put out one full length and then disappeared from the face of the Earth. They kinda reminded me of a "Blacker" black dahlia murder in certain respects... let's see if I still remember how to embed youtube clips.Another favorite that didn't last nearly as long as they should of, a bunch of the guys that formed this band went on to form the Red Chord... now I've grown to enjoy a certain form of the Deathcore in recent months but I can't get over how much better this band was than the Red chord. Shit yeah!... Shit no, No One likes shit!
