As promised, there are the results of the Spirit of Metal 10 years anniversary contest.
In the name of all the administration team, I would thank all the participants and congratulate them for their insight. The results are tight, so as I thought the subsidiary question was decisive to get a winner.

You will find the answers to the questions below.
I accepted some approximative answers (1977, 1978 and 1981 for instance). The questions about the 80's did a real Slaughter, nobody found the correct answer to the 1987 question, only one participant came close so he got half a point. Eight participants found the correct answer to the 1989 question. Only the questions for the years 1980 and 1983 got more correct answers.

For the questions for which you had to find Two names, I awarded half a point if only one of the Two was found (for instance 1979 and mostly 1993 for which only one member got a point, all the others who have answered only get half a point).

And nobody noticed that there were not 40 questions but 41 (without counting the subsidiary question). From 1973 to 2013 included, you get 41 questions, you can check that.
