Witness was formed in 2001 by Zag (vocals) and Tibo (drums), who were joined by Jérémy (guitars), Manusss (bass) and Aumuary, of which the latter was shortly afterwards replaced by Max on vocals. The initial Style was Heavy/Thrash like Metallica and Sepultura, but the sound evolved in the following years to Thrash/ Death. In late 2003 Manusss was replaced by Julien. The band has thus far released 1 demo called "Vision OF Insanity"
