In an age of evolving musical tastes,Shadowgod has been a band determined to keep the flag of classic métal flying,in a decade where big guitars,screaming vocals and catchy songs in the genre have been reduced to nostalgic proportions.

The band's history can be traced back to 2005,when vocalist Gravel and guitarist Kalen crossed paths in numerous local rock outfits.After months of false starts in their respective groups the pair decided to form their own band.Unlike previous endevours the duo wanted their music to express their diverse and melodic styles influenced by 70's and 80's metal.After over three years of song writing sessions
and band member auditions Gravel would find bassist Kisner and drummer Bestia.
The group has been on a major roll since their live debut in early 2009 playing throughout the western United states while gearing up for the first US tour for 2011.
