Rytmihäiriö group formed in Helsinki (Finland ) in the fall of 1988. At the beginning of the guys were playing styles crossover / hardcore with lyrics in their native tongue, but then the music band began to change in the direction of thrash metal and grindcore . The founders of the group were Calle Enlil, the bass player and drummer Ande Kiiski Otto Luotonen . Soon they were joined by guitarist Karis , who had recently read an ad in the newspaper. The band was able to play a few shows and recorded a demo , but it soon became clear that the guitarist Karis is not suitable Rytmihäiriö. In his place, the guys invite Tuukka Laitinen , who promised them that they will record a demo and played a couple of shows .

In 1989, Tuukka goes to thrash metal band Dirty Damagessa, where he played the drums EQ. Soon EQ comes in Rytmihäiriö, Tuukka in place , but after recording a demo in Dirty Damagessa last returns to Rytmihäiriö. Now, the group had two guitarists , musicians and this lineup recorded a demo . After leaving the guitarist Rytmihäiriö EQ. The reason for this was to create his own team Dundelion. By the fall of 1989 began the conflicts within the team and eventually left the band vocalist Calle Illilya , but in spite of this , in October of that year, a group of three wins back concert in Turku, where the boys performed the song "Surmatyö", which later fell to the same name mini- album .

In the late autumn of 1989 grindcore band vocalist Nauseassa comes Pathe Vuori , and in December 1989, the team went to the studio to record a mini- album "Surmatyö", which has a circulation was 500 copies. In the first half of 1990, Rick Pyaakkenen creates a label Spinefarm Records, and Rytmihäiriö become the first group signed to it . This label and issue a new mini- album of the band , "Ihmisiä Kuolee!" The album was released in the amount of 1,200 copies and sold out in a short time. Then he left the band Nastis , but despite that in January 1991 the guys released full-length album "Surman Siipien Havina", then Rytmihäiriö go on tour.

Around this time, the team comes a new guitarist and longtime friend of the band Samppa . The group started working on new material for the next release , but for unknown reasons, the composition of leaves Pathe Vuori . In addition, Tuukka Laitinen loses interest in creativity Rytmihäiriö and subsequently leaving its ranks. Rytmihäiriö long remained committed to the old style of singing , and soon decided to use the English language for writing lyrics. Then the band went into the studio to record a new release - split "The End of Evolution ...... Is Round The Corner". But this lasted only until the composition of output . Later, the team was disbanded.

After the collapse of Rytmihäiriö drummer Otto Luotonen goes Wind of Pain, where he met with guitarist Janne Perttilyaan . In 1998, it was decided to restore Rytmihäiriö, and Janne joined the musicians on guitar . The team was received warmly enough , but despite this Rytmihäiriö performed only in rare cases , performing in concerts with the composition of the first mini- album. In 2000, the team returned to the studio to record an old unreleased material that has not previously been completed. As a result, there was a record "Demo 2000" . Album was released in October 2006 , finishing 36th in the official Finnish charts. Soon, the band went on tour Sakara, engulfed the whole of Finland .
