ENDOR arose from the ashes of FORESIGHT, a 4-headed band that started out in the hardcore scene about six years ago. A first demo was recorded, several gigs were played, while the band 's style kept evolving and became more and more metal-oriented. That ‘s why, at some point, the band decided to change their name into ENDOR, taken from the last episode of the Star Wars saga, as it is the forest moon, the planet where the Rebel Alliance gains its final victory against the dark Empire. The band - now as a quintet - kept evoking and practising new material and at the end of 2001 they felt ready and strong enough to invade the studios for a second time. Four powerful, yet intense songs, which formed a solid and steady whole, were captured and excreted as a demo-CD under the name of -No Rose Without Thorns…-. Lots of positive reactions followed and now ENDOR is ready to face the next step in its young, yet promising life...
