Biografie : Agartha (FRA)

Agartha is a French heavy metal band whose members used their numerous influences to compose songs each with their own individual style. The result is an epic style of music that is a skilful combination of melody and fast rhythm. The main events in the life of Agartha are gathered together in this biography.

The band which wasn't called Agartha yet (and had no name!) was composed of Sébastien Saulnier and Bruno Dorbani (guitars), Steeve Camboly (vocals) and Nicolas Chaffaut (bass). It was the first opportunity for them to play their very first composition: And the rain is falling.

Thanks to his experience in other bands, Pierrot is key to the band's motivation. Towards the end of 1999, Nicolas, Sébastien's brother, takes part in an audition before finally joining the band. His progress on keyboards will soon make him an indispensable member of the band.
