Ça y est, enfin des news concernant le prochain Tourniquet :
"Finally, we will be recording a Brand New epic Tourniquet album in July
or August, 2010. We are excited to announce that we will be working
with legendary English producer NEIL KERNON. Neil has either produced,
recorded, mixed, or engineered a staggering amount of cool music from
classic metal (Queensryche, Dokken, Judas Priest, Autograph) to death
metal (Nile, Cannibal Corpse) to progressive music (Nevermore, Magma)
to hair metal (Britny Fox) to Christian bands like Petra, to classic
bands like Kansas, to Platinum selling albums like Hall and Oates
"Private Eyes". We plan to release it as soon as it's finished in fall
of this year."
Bay Area forefathers of thrash Exodus will be releasing their ninth studio album, Exhibit B: The Human Condition, this spring. Guitarist / songwriter Gary Holt checks in about what the band was looking to capture art-wise and why the final version chosen Nailed it:"We wanted to portray the violence of man at its finest, so we started with our own version of the Leonardo da Vinci sketch [of Vitruvian Man], but done the ‘EXODUS’ way! I was pointed in the direction of Colin Larks of Rainsong Design for the cover and he killed it! To me, the artwork represents man and his affinity for Bloodshed, ignorance, and all-around ability to be led like sheep to the slaughter. The image fits the songs on this record perfectly. The whole layout is going to as Sick as the record itself! Exhibit B: The Human Condition was recorded this past December in Northern California with producer Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Arch Enemy,Kreator).

Je viens d'écouter Ironbound, le dernier Overkill, et le nombre de clins d'oeil à d'autres compos de groupes thrash m'a sauté aux oreilles. Alors, plagiat ou hommage. Liste non exhaustive ...
Canadian Thrash Metal pioneers Annihilator have revealed the artwork for their upcoming new album.
ANNIHILATOR's new, self-titled release is the band's thirteenth studio album and is due to be released in Europe by Earache Records on 17th May.
Annihilator guitarist and mainman JEFF WATERS discusses the artwork:
"The new Annihilator CD cover art was, again, done by the great Gyula Havancsák (http://www.hjules.com). He has done the art for the last 4 Annihilator studio releases, as well as the 'Ten Years in Hell' DVD.
"The concept was mine and came to me in a dream (more like a Nightmare) and seems to be 'Alice' (Alison Hell), returned from the grave!
"Musically, the new CD ended up being far more Aggressive than expected; thus, the new CD cover seems to compliment the songs perfectly."
'ANNIHILATOR' is set to feature ten tracks of heads-down, no-frills metal, and is sure to be a highlight in the band's already-impressive catalogue.
The official track listing is as follows:
