Les membres groupe ont eux-même dit qu'ils n'étaient pas satisfait de la qualité de "Headless Ritual" (qui avait reçu d'ailleurs un accueil assez mitigé, surtout après le terrible MacabreEternal), et ont donc décidé d’enchaîner sur un nouvel album dés fin 2013.
