Un choix draconien, il y a eu pas mal de pépites ces 20 dernières années (la période 80/90 n’est pas en reste …) un top 50 aurait été plus judicieux mais la n’est pas le propos (20 LP / 20 ANS / 2020) et choisir un album en particulier dans les groupes que j’ai listé n’est pas une mince affaire…et de nombreux groupes passé à la trappe ou dont j’ai eu du mal à faire un choix.

Je me suis amusé à essayé de sortir une liste de 20 disques marquant sur le creneau 2000/2019.
Pas aussi aisé que ça d autant plus que certains dorment dans les rayonnages depuis qlq annees.
Apres une 1ere liste à 40 je n ai gardé que ces derniers. (Sont restés sur le bord napalm death ennemy....obscura omnivium....ripper experiment....nile those whom....anorexia nervosa redemption...COC in the....deicide the stench, etc....)
Je retiendrais:
1/CELTIC FROST MONOTHEIST retour du groupe avec 1 album si sombre qu il resta 1 long moment dans ma playlist hebdomadaire.
2/ANATA THE CONDUCTOR S DEPARTURE tant de technique et d efficacité, ANATA m a conquis sur chacun de ses albums
3/BEHEMOTH LOVED YOU AT YOUR DARKNEST je retiens ce dernier qui me regale tjrs plus à chaque ecoute.
4/BLOODBATH RESURRECTION THROUGH CARNAGE la resurgence du death à la sauce Entombed avec 1 severe line up , un must!
5/DARKTHRONE UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE 1 lecon de metal en 6 actes...le titre left no cross unterned est demonstration de metal à lui seul
6/DIMMU BORGIR DEATH CULT ARMAGEDDON la puissance couplé à 1 fond de classique...pas mieux
7/ENSLAVED VERTEBRAE decouverte du groupe avec cet album...the watcher!
8/EXODUS THE ATROCITY EXHIBITION...EXHIBIT A thrash à fond, belle demonstration de G Holt et sa bande. Children of the wortless god est 1 tuerie.
9/ HALLAS EXCEPTS FROM A FUTUR PAST les nouveaux BÖC.
10/TYPE O NEGATIVE LIFE IS KILLING ME le geant vert manque . Ses albums etaient sacrement beaux et tristres .
11/VEKTOR BLACK FUTUR la baffe du thrash de ces dernieres annees.
12/SULPHUR AEON SWALLOWED BY THE OCEAN S TIDE puissant les teutons.des ambiances glacantes.
13/TRIPTYKON MELANA CHASMALA dans l a continuite de la renaissance de CELTIC FROST .1 clic plus accessible que le1er.
14/IRON.MAIDEN.BRAVE NEW WORLD retour gagnant de B DICKINSON qui verra 1 magistrale tournee.
15/KREATOR VIOLENT REVOLUTION retour aux affaires de M PETROZZA et sa bande.j ai redecouvert le groupe avec cet album.
16/MORBID ANGEL GATEWAYS TO ANNIHILIATION decouverte du groupe au Bikini/Toulouse. Album monstrueux avec 1 Tucker juste impressionnant.
17/OPETH BLACK WATER PARK sacre album de death/progressif subjugé.
18/RAMMSTEIN MUTTER vu sur cette tournée et quel album.mon preferé des teutons
19/SATYRICON VOLCANO j ai decouvert cet album avec mon pote Eric...depuis SATYRICON est 1 valeur sure.
20/IMMORTAL DAMNED IN BLACK intense et massif, cet album a tourné jusqu à plus soif...il ressort regulierement
Extrêmement difficile, ils sont tous excellents, plus une énumération qu'un classement à proprement dit tant je n'arrive pas à les départager, et tellement d'autres passent à la trappe...
