Back when they came out Venom's - Black Metal, Celtic Frost's - Morbid Tales & Dark Angel's - Darkness Descends.  All were pretty freaking dark and spooky when i was stoned, back in the 80's.

Recently the only thing i can think of that is freaky now is Dead Congregation's Graves of the Archangels.
