Poison from Germany was one of the most underrated black/death/thrash metal bands of the 1980's. Really Vicious and Savage stuff, very reminiscent of the main bands of the teutonic scene (though owning more to Destruction than anything else). their early demos were some of the most infamous works of the 1980's, because of how absurdly raw they were. (the Sons of Evil demo in particular) Their final demo, Into The Abyss, Saw the band take on a lengthy, yet punishing and Vicious form of black/death/thrash metal. 4 songs while the whole thing clocks in at 33 minutes. The guitarist continued on with the band R. U. Dead. (idiotic name but a great band)
that came really close to being my new signature. Maybe someday.
