I've noticed a few other ladies here, so let's discuss who's flying our flag in the world of metal!

Sure, we have Jeanne Strand (All That Remains, ex-The Acacia Strain), Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), Candice (Eths), etc., but where are the female shredders for axe! Strand is a great bassist, don't get me wrong, but I'd love to find one decent female metal guitarist to look up to.

If not I'll just have to do it by myself.

And before anyone asks, this isn't a thread aimed to exclude the guys! Hell no. We can discuss their talent and objectify them as well, it's all good. That's what famous people are for.

well Jo-Anne Bench(Bolt Thrower) is a great bassist player as  for a female guitarist there is NoNe better than the virtuoso katherine thomas aka the great kat!!!
if you are not familiar with the latter i would suggest you listen to her she is completely demented!both as a personality and as an artist...
now that i think about it i can't think of any women playing the drums...are they any???

Their is an amazing chick on youtube that does awsome covers of LoG and BFME songs.
