Wait, Von's American? Okay, yeah, they're the exception. Somehow, I enjoy their music, even though they're not really all that enjoyable, or even that good. It's like all their little imperfections, be it their monotony, shitty production values and simple, bland riffs, somehow add up into something that's amazing, something so incomprehensibly evil.

Start off with Ultima Thulee for Blut Aus Nord. Such a creepy album.

well,.. yes you anticipated me a lot, i didn't notice you said that... Inquisition, they are from Colombia, that is right.

About USBM i didn't voted, and i won't vote them, but i think besides Von there are many other good bands there like Leviathan, Krieg, Veil, and Judas Iscariot(when Anakhenaten used to play here)... i even think that a controversial band like Happy Days is ok to me, i am not a lover of DSBM, but i like that genre, and there are a quite a few bands that i aprecciate, and in the same way of DSBM i like Triste from u.S. ... what about Typhus?, they aren't depressive and i know many other good bands, but those are The One i pronounce now.

Leviathan can be alright at times, but they're FAR too inconsistent to gain any real respect in my book. Krieg and Veil suck, Judas Iscariot get a lot of praise even in Black Metal circles that dislike USBM but they just don't do much for me, although I'll admit they're tolerable and Happy Days is good when I'm in the Mood for that type of shit. Problem is I'm almost never in the mood.

And yes, Fuck Xasthur indeed. I've read interviews with Malefic, and the guy comes off as a cunt. Makes it all that much easier to Hate him.

France has some awesome Black Metal bands. Especially those that were in LLN. Anything from France is definitely worth giving a try.
